September 01, 2016 – We originally created our online publications with Adobe Flash. Now we will mainly use JavaScript. We also want more flexibility for mobile devices, such as tablets and smartphones. Our work will be limited, then, until we develop and test a new system.

All we need is a PDF. You can email it to pdf or use our upload page. (An upload will be necessary if the file is too big for your mail system.)
Make sure a pre-press or printing professional works with the PDF specifications. This will avoid problems such as missing fonts or fuzzy pictures.

Documents prepared as PDF/X.
Image resolution of at least 300 dots-per-inch (DPI).
JPEG compression is a good idea, but only at the “highest quality” setting.
Since this file is not meant for conventional printing, the CMYK color system (cyan-magenta-yellow-black that corresponds to press inks) can be ignored. RGB (red-green-blue) is much better for screen reproduction. If possible, use graphics that have not been converted to CMYK at any point.

As noted on the “Samples” page, we are reworking our system. That will also affect our eventual rates. In general, a basic fee covers set-up and we add a small amount per page (plus applicable taxes). Pages can stay online up to one year. Payment becomes due only after the pages are published.
